Terms and conditions

  • I understand that in completing this registration I (the Primary Contact) am applying for Ordinary Membership of Brighton District Soccer Club Inc. for calendar year 2024. I confirm I am over the age of 18.

    I understand that the Management Committee, in accordance with the association rules, retain the right to accept or reject my application for membership and that my application will be considered at the next scheduled Committee Meeting.
    I understand that players listed in this application, who are not the Primary Contact, are registering as players only and are not applying for Club Membership. Player registrations are accepted automatically on completion of this application.

    All Members and Players agree to abide by Brighton District Soccer Club's Code of Conduct, Club Rules, Disciplinary Policy and any bylaws instated by Brighton District Soccer Club. A copy of the Club Rules, Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy can be found on the 'Football Competitions' page of the club's website and in hard copy at the club house. In addition to abiding by these regulations, Members and Players agree to support these regulations with fellow players, spectators, parents, coaches and club officials.

    All Ordinary Members agree to comply with the volunteer requirements. Each Ordinary Member agrees to provide a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer time during the season, of which 5 hours must be completed by June 30 unless agreed otherwise, or alternatively, to pay the $100 volunteer levy as part of their registration. Volunteer hours will be reconciled at the end of the season and an invoice will be sent for any incomplete hours.

    All Ordinary Members agree to receive email messages from time to time from the Club on behalf of Club sponsors. The Club does not share Members or Players personal data with Club sponsors.

    A REFUND FEE APPLIES TO ALL REFUNDS. This fee covers the associated administrative costs and any pro-rata affiliation fees once games have commenced. Refunds are provided under the Club refund policy which can be found on the Club website under Members News.

    Player registration part way through the season is at the full registration fee cost unless adjusted with the approval of the Management Committee. Similarly, player registration part way through the season incurs the full volunteer obligation unless adjusted by the Management Committee.

    Prior debts owing to the Club by the applicant must be cleared within 7 days of the player registration application. If not cleared within 7 days, the Management Committee reserve the right to reject the player application.

    CLUB REGISTRATION FEES (ALL PLAYERS)- must be paid in full directly to the club 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the first game, or have signed up for a payment plan 2 weeks prior to the first game. A deposit of 10% must be paid on registration.

    U6-U18 SENIOR MEN AND WOMEN (FOOTBALL QUEENSLAND PLAYERS) - must register and pay their FQ/FA affiliation fee directly to FQ via Squadi at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the first game. Players will not be able to participate if this fee is not paid, no exceptions.

    U6 PLAYERS - The club will be in touch regarding FQ/FA registration and fees as soon as we have confirmation from FQ and Squadi.

    OVERS PLAYERS - The club will be in touch regarding FQ/FA registration and fees as soon as we have confirmation from FQ and Squadi.
